Rosh Hashanah 2024 Candle Lighting. On every holiday the blessing for candle lighting is lehadlik ner shel yom tov. The candles are lit before the blessing is recited.

This is the sephardi version of the blessing: Girls and all women who are in the house (or if there isn’t a woman in the house, the head of the household), light candles to usher in each night of the holiday.
